Discipleship, two at a time

Walk the kingdom way, together.

Practice the way of Jesus with someone. Pick a few practices, keep them side by side, see each other keep them, and talk about what you're learning every week. A walk is free for the two of you, always.

Two phones side by side on the same Tuesday. On the first phone, you have marked morning prayer and a chapter of Mark, and you can see that Eli has kept all three practices. On the second phone, Eli sees the same week from the other side, with your two marks beside his own. Missed days show as empty circles, never as failure.

The shape of a walk

Caught, not taught.

Discipleship moves through three postures. The app is built around them, not around any one tradition.

  1. Watch me

The one further along shows how they keep a practice. Any practice can carry a short "how I do it" note, so the other person sees the real thing and not just a title.

  2. Do what I do

Both of you keep the practice, and each of you sees the other keep it. Two quiet marks a day, side by side.

  3. Let's do it together

The weekly examen and the brief before you meet turn shared practice into mutual accountability. Either person can ask the other anything, and the arrow eventually points both ways.

The sharing rule

What your partner sees, and what they don't.

Your partner sees what you mark and what you choose to share from your examen. Nothing else. Examen answers are private until you tap share, and you share per answer, not per week. Leaving a walk removes your marks from the others' view.

What your partner sees

  • Which practices you marked, day by day.
  • What you're working on this season, and how you do each practice.
  • Answers you choose to share, one at a time, and prayer requests you put in the walk.

What they don’t

  • Anything you didn't share. It stays with you.
  • Rankings or grades. There aren't any, for either of you.
  • What the AI reflects back to you. It reads your words and never grades anyone.

How we handle your data

No streaks. No scores. No red X. Just two people who can see each other keep going.

A missed day shows up as an empty circle, never as failure.

What makes it different

Built for the part of discipleship nobody else builds for.

Built for two
Most faith apps are for one person or a whole church. This one is for two people, two names, one week.
The app for after the course ends
Works with whatever your church teaches. Keep going when the course is over.
Caught, not taught
Watch me, do what I do, let's do it together. Apprenticeship, not a curriculum.
Nothing counted
A missed day is an empty circle, not a failure. Nobody is ranked, graded or shamed.
Working on yourself, with someone
Practices are what you do. The focus is who you're becoming.
Seasons end
Walk for a season. Then decide together what's next.

For churches and practice guides

For churches

The app for after the course ends.

Every course and pathway ends, and the pairs that formed in it quietly evaporate. Tell people to pair up and keep their rule in disciple.app, and the pairs have somewhere to live. It works with whatever your church teaches.

Practice guides

Short how-to pages for common practices.

How to keep a Sabbath, how to ask the examen, how to start a pair. Each guide ends with a way to keep the practice with someone.

Questions

Questions people ask.

Is this a habit app?

It borrows the daily check-in and drops the counting. No streaks. No scores. No red X. A missed day shows as an empty circle, never as failure, and nothing is ranked. It is a way for two people to keep a few practices side by side and talk about them each week.

What does my partner see?

Your partner sees what you mark and what you choose to share from your examen. Nothing else. Examen answers are private until you tap share, and you share per answer, not per week. Leaving a walk removes your marks from the others' view.

Do we both pay?

No. A walk is free for the two people in it, always, and a partner never has to pay to join you. Churches and optional supporters pay for other things.

Can we use our own rule?

Yes. Practices are freeform text. Write your own, pick from the starter suggestions, or paste in a rule you've already written and the app splits it into practices for you to confirm. It works with any rule, including one from the Rule of Life Builder.

Which traditions is it for?

Any. There is no Christian mode or Jewish mode. A Baptist pair might type "morning prayer" and "patience"; a Messianic pair might type "Shacharit from the siddur" and "savlanut". The app treats them the same. One skippable question, "Where are you rooted?", only changes the order of the suggestions.

What does the AI do?

After your weekly examen it reflects your own words back in two or three sentences and asks at most one question. It never gives advice, never rates you, and never compares you with your partner. Your words are not used to train models.

Can more than two of us walk together?

Yes. A walk can hold two to four people, and a group leader can put one QR code on the screen so everyone scans into the same walk.

How do we start?

One of you starts a walk and shows a QR code; the other scans it with any phone. If you're apart, send a link. If there's no camera, type the six-character code.
