What your partner sees, and what they don't.

Walking together means being seen. You decide how much. This page says exactly what is shared, how your data is handled, and what the AI does and doesn't do.

The sharing rule

Your partner sees what you mark and what you choose to share from your examen. Nothing else. Examen answers are private until you tap share, and you share per answer, not per week. Leaving a walk removes your marks from the others' view.

What your partner sees

  • Which practices you marked, day by day.
  • What you're working on this season, and how you do each practice.
  • Answers you choose to share, one at a time, and prayer requests you put in the walk.

What they don’t

  • Anything you didn't share. It stays with you.
  • Rankings or grades. There aren't any, for either of you.
  • What the AI reflects back to you. It reads your words and never grades anyone.

How we handle your data

  • Your practices, marks and reflections live in an encrypted Postgres database. Access is per user, and walk membership is the only path to another person's data.
  • No staff access to content in normal operation, and any access is logged.
  • Export everything as JSON, or delete your account and every walk you own, from settings.
  • Push notifications never include examen text.
  • In the EU, analytics and attribution wait for your consent first.
  • Your words are not used to train models. See our AI note below.

Our AI note

The AI reflects your own words back to you. It does not coach, grade or rank anyone, and a person stays in every conversation that matters.

What the AI does

  • Reads one person's examen at a time, with other members' names removed.
  • Writes two or three sentences that quote or paraphrase your own words, and asks at most one question.
  • Splits a rule you paste in into separate practices, which you confirm or change.
  • Suggests practices when you ask it to.

What it never does

  • Gives advice or a rating.
  • Compares you with your partner, or anyone.
  • Sees your partner's answers while it reads yours.
  • Sends your reflection to your partner. Reflections stay private to you.
  • Uses your words to train models.
